Advantages of SNI Concrete Iron

Types of rebar
At the time of writing, concrete iron or concrete bone iron (BTB) consists of two types:
Plain Rebar
This rebar has a smooth and slippery surface. The cross section is smoothly rounded. Rebar has less binding power with concrete castings. Plain rebar is easier to find and is sold in retail. Plain concrete iron is flexible and easy to bend and has a minimum compressive resistance of 240 Mpa. The selling price of plain concrete iron is cheaper than screw concrete iron. Plain rebar is usually used to wrap and tie several threaded rebar bars in one concrete construction.
Threaded Concrete Iron
Threaded rebar has fin-like protrusions along its surface, so it has a high binding force with concrete castings. The shape of these fins is different for each manufacturer. This rebar is only sold in large volumes by distributors to contractors. Screw rebar is less flexible and difficult to bend, making installation difficult. The minimum compressive resistance of screw rebar is 400 Mpa.
